EROFS may encounter above panic when enabling file-backed mount w/
directio mount option, the root cause is it may suffer UAF in below
race condition:
- z_erofs_read_folio wq s_dio_done_wq
- z_erofs_runqueue
- erofs_fileio_submit_bio
- erofs_fileio_rq_submit
- vfs_iocb_iter_read
- ext4_file_read_iter
- ext4_dio_read_iter
- iomap_dio_rw
: bio was submitted and return -EIOCBQUEUED
- dio_aio_complete_work
- dio_complete
- dio->iocb->ki_complete (erofs_fileio_ki_complete())
- kfree(rq)
: it frees iocb, iocb.ki_filp can be UAF in file_accessed().
- file_accessed
: access NULL file point
Introduce a reference count in struct erofs_fileio_rq, and initialize it
as two, both erofs_fileio_ki_complete() and erofs_fileio_rq_submit() will
decrease reference count, the last one decreasing the reference count
to zero will free rq. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): fix error message
Sinc commit 79a6d1bfe114 ("can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback():
unanchor URL on usb_submit_urb() error") a failing resubmit URB will print
an info message.
In the case of a short read where netdev has not yet been assigned,
initialize as NULL to avoid dereferencing an undefined value. Also report
the error value of the failed resubmit. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
efivarfs: fix error propagation in efivar_entry_get()
efivar_entry_get() always returns success even if the underlying
__efivar_entry_get() fails, masking errors.
This may result in uninitialized heap memory being copied to userspace
in the efivarfs_file_read() path.
Fix it by returning the error from __efivar_entry_get(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/exynos: vidi: use ctx->lock to protect struct vidi_context member variables related to memory alloc/free
Exynos Virtual Display driver performs memory alloc/free operations
without lock protection, which easily causes concurrency problem.
For example, use-after-free can occur in race scenario like this:
```
CPU0 CPU1 CPU2
---- ---- ----
vidi_connection_ioctl()
if (vidi->connection) // true
drm_edid = drm_edid_alloc(); // alloc drm_edid
...
ctx->raw_edid = drm_edid;
...
drm_mode_getconnector()
drm_helper_probe_single_connector_modes()
vidi_get_modes()
if (ctx->raw_edid) // true
drm_edid_dup(ctx->raw_edid);
if (!drm_edid) // false
...
vidi_connection_ioctl()
if (vidi->connection) // false
drm_edid_free(ctx->raw_edid); // free drm_edid
...
drm_edid_alloc(drm_edid->edid)
kmemdup(edid); // UAF!!
...
```
To prevent these vulns, at least in vidi_context, member variables related
to memory alloc/free should be protected with ctx->lock. |
| A vulnerability was detected in TRENDnet TEW-713RE 1.02. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /goformX/formFSrvX. The manipulation of the argument SZCMD results in os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor confirms: "The product in question TEW-731RE for CVE-2025-15471 has been discontinued and end of life since October 23, 2020. We no longer provide support for this product, so we are not able to confirm the vulnerabilities. We will make an announcement on the website product support page and notify customers who registered their products with us." This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| Graphiti is a framework for building and querying temporal context graphs for AI agents. Graphiti versions before 0.28.2 contained a Cypher injection vulnerability in shared search-filter construction for non-Kuzu backends. Attacker-controlled label values supplied through SearchFilters.node_labels were concatenated directly into Cypher label expressions without validation. In MCP deployments, this was exploitable not only through direct untrusted access to the Graphiti MCP server, but also through prompt injection against an LLM client that could be induced to call search_nodes with attacker-controlled entity_types values. The MCP server mapped entity_types to SearchFilters.node_labels, which then reached the vulnerable Cypher construction path. Affected backends included Neo4j, FalkorDB, and Neptune. Kuzu was not affected by the label-injection issue because it used parameterized label handling rather than string-interpolated Cypher labels. This issue was mitigated in 0.28.2. |
| xiaoheiFS is a self-hosted financial and operational system for cloud service businesses. In versions up to and including 0.3.15, the standard plugin system allows admins to upload a ZIP file containing a binary and a `manifest.json`. The server trusts the `binaries` field in the manifest and executes the specified file without any validation of its contents or behavior, leading to Remote Code Execution (RCE). Version 0.4.0 fixes the issue. |
| A critical SQL injection vulnerability in Spring AI's MariaDBFilterExpressionConverter allows attackers to bypass metadata-based access controls and execute arbitrary SQL commands.
The vulnerability exists due to missing input sanitization. |
| xiaoheiFS is a self-hosted financial and operational system for cloud service businesses. In versions up to and including 0.3.15, the `AdminPaymentPluginUpload` endpoint lets admins upload any file to `plugins/payment/`. It only checks a hardcoded password (`qweasd123456`) and ignores file content. A background watcher (`StartWatcher`) then scans this folder every 5 seconds. If it finds a new executable, it runs it immediately, resulting in RCE. Version 4.0.0 fixes the issue. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Edge Cloud Infrastructure Designer and Visualisation Toolkit product of Oracle Open Source Projects (component: Desktop). The supported version that is affected is 0.3.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Edge Cloud Infrastructure Designer and Visualisation Toolkit. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Edge Cloud Infrastructure Designer and Visualisation Toolkit. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| The [CR]Paid Link Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the URL path in all versions up to, and including, 0.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
| Glances is an open-source system cross-platform monitoring tool. The GHSA-gh4x fix (commit 5d3de60) addressed unauthenticated configuration secrets exposure on the `/api/v4/config` endpoints by introducing `as_dict_secure()` redaction. However, the `/api/v4/args` and `/api/v4/args/{item}` endpoints were not addressed by this fix. These endpoints return the complete command-line arguments namespace via `vars(self.args)`, which includes the password hash (salt + pbkdf2_hmac), SNMP community strings, SNMP authentication keys, and the configuration file path. When Glances runs without `--password` (the default), these endpoints are accessible without any authentication. Version 4.5.2 provides a more complete fix. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-16 and 6.9.13-41, when a memory allocation fails in the sixel encoder it would be possible to write past the end of a buffer on the stack. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.2-16 and 6.9.13-41. |
| Godot MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for interacting with the Godot game engine. Prior to version 0.1.1, a command injection vulnerability in godot-mcp allows remote code execution. The executeOperation function passed user-controlled input (e.g., projectPath) directly to exec(), which spawns a shell. An attacker could inject shell metacharacters like $(command) or &calc to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the MCP server process. This affects any tool that accepts projectPath, including create_scene, add_node, load_sprite, and others. This issue has been patched in version 0.1.1. |
| The Yoast Duplicate Post plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the clone_bulk_action_handler() and republish_request() functions in all versions up to, and including, 4.5. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to duplicate any post on the site including private, draft, and trashed posts they shouldn't have access to. Additionally, attackers with Author-level access and above can use the Rewrite & Republish feature to overwrite any published post with their own content. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in ThemeFusion Fusion Builder fusion-builder allows DOM-Based XSS.This issue affects Fusion Builder: from n/a through <= 3.13.2. |
| MCP TypeScript SDK is the official TypeScript SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. From version 1.10.0 to 1.25.3, cross-client response data leak when a single McpServer/Server and transport instance is reused across multiple client connections, most commonly in stateless StreamableHTTPServerTransport deployments. This issue has been patched in version 1.26.0. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in CrocoBlock JetElements For Elementor jet-elements allows Stored XSS.This issue affects JetElements For Elementor: from n/a through <= 2.7.8. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: do not strictly require dirty metadata threshold for metadata writepages
[BUG]
There is an internal report that over 1000 processes are
waiting at the io_schedule_timeout() of balance_dirty_pages(), causing
a system hang and trigger a kernel coredump.
The kernel is v6.4 kernel based, but the root problem still applies to
any upstream kernel before v6.18.
[CAUSE]
From Jan Kara for his wisdom on the dirty page balance behavior first.
This cgroup dirty limit was what was actually playing the role here
because the cgroup had only a small amount of memory and so the dirty
limit for it was something like 16MB.
Dirty throttling is responsible for enforcing that nobody can dirty
(significantly) more dirty memory than there's dirty limit. Thus when
a task is dirtying pages it periodically enters into balance_dirty_pages()
and we let it sleep there to slow down the dirtying.
When the system is over dirty limit already (either globally or within
a cgroup of the running task), we will not let the task exit from
balance_dirty_pages() until the number of dirty pages drops below the
limit.
So in this particular case, as I already mentioned, there was a cgroup
with relatively small amount of memory and as a result with dirty limit
set at 16MB. A task from that cgroup has dirtied about 28MB worth of
pages in btrfs btree inode and these were practically the only dirty
pages in that cgroup.
So that means the only way to reduce the dirty pages of that cgroup is
to writeback the dirty pages of btrfs btree inode, and only after that
those processes can exit balance_dirty_pages().
Now back to the btrfs part, btree_writepages() is responsible for
writing back dirty btree inode pages.
The problem here is, there is a btrfs internal threshold that if the
btree inode's dirty bytes are below the 32M threshold, it will not
do any writeback.
This behavior is to batch as much metadata as possible so we won't write
back those tree blocks and then later re-COW them again for another
modification.
This internal 32MiB is higher than the existing dirty page size (28MiB),
meaning no writeback will happen, causing a deadlock between btrfs and
cgroup:
- Btrfs doesn't want to write back btree inode until more dirty pages
- Cgroup/MM doesn't want more dirty pages for btrfs btree inode
Thus any process touching that btree inode is put into sleep until
the number of dirty pages is reduced.
Thanks Jan Kara a lot for the analysis of the root cause.
[ENHANCEMENT]
Since kernel commit b55102826d7d ("btrfs: set AS_KERNEL_FILE on the
btree_inode"), btrfs btree inode pages will only be charged to the root
cgroup which should have a much larger limit than btrfs' 32MiB
threshold.
So it should not affect newer kernels.
But for all current LTS kernels, they are all affected by this problem,
and backporting the whole AS_KERNEL_FILE may not be a good idea.
Even for newer kernels I still think it's a good idea to get
rid of the internal threshold at btree_writepages(), since for most cases
cgroup/MM has a better view of full system memory usage than btrfs' fixed
threshold.
For internal callers using btrfs_btree_balance_dirty() since that
function is already doing internal threshold check, we don't need to
bother them.
But for external callers of btree_writepages(), just respect their
requests and write back whatever they want, ignoring the internal
btrfs threshold to avoid such deadlock on btree inode dirty page
balancing. |
| beefree.io SDK is vulnerable to Stored XSS in Social Media icon URL parameter in email builder functionality. Malicious attacker can inject arbitrary HTML and JS into template, which will be rendered/executed when visiting preview page. However due to beefree's Content Security Policy not all payloads will execute successfully.
This issue has been fixed in version 3.47.0. |
