| Dagu is a workflow engine with a built-in Web user interface. In versions up to and including 1.16.7, the `CreateNewDAG` API endpoint (`POST /api/v1/dags`) does not validate the DAG name before passing it to the file store. An authenticated user with DAG write permissions can write arbitrary YAML files anywhere on the filesystem (limited by the process permissions). Since dagu executes DAG files as shell commands, writing a malicious DAG to the DAGs directory of another instance or overwriting config files can lead to remote code execution. Commit e2ed589105d79273e4e6ac8eb31525f765bb3ce4 fixes the issue. |

| Caddy is an extensible server platform that uses TLS by default. Prior to version 2.11.1, two swallowed errors in `ClientAuthentication.provision()` cause mTLS client certificate authentication to silently fail open when a CA certificate file is missing, unreadable, or malformed. The server starts without error but accepts any client certificate signed by any system-trusted CA, completely bypassing the intended private CA trust boundary. Any deployment using `trusted_ca_cert_file` or `trusted_ca_certs_pem_files` for mTLS will silently degrade to accepting any system-trusted client certificate if the CA file becomes unavailable. This can happen due to a typo in the path, file rotation, corruption, or permission changes. The server gives no indication that mTLS is misconfigured. Version 2.11.1 fixes the vulnerability. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: usb: rtl8150: fix memory leak on usb_submit_urb() failure
In async_set_registers(), when usb_submit_urb() fails, the allocated
async_req structure and URB are not freed, causing a memory leak.
The completion callback async_set_reg_cb() is responsible for freeing
these allocations, but it is only called after the URB is successfully
submitted and completes (successfully or with error). If submission
fails, the callback never runs and the memory is leaked.
Fix this by freeing both the URB and the request structure in the error
path when usb_submit_urb() fails. |

ksmbd: Fix memory leak in get_file_all_info()
In get_file_all_info(), if vfs_getattr() fails, the function returns
immediately without freeing the allocated filename, leading to a memory
leak.
Fix this by freeing the filename before returning in this error case. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cifs: Fix memory and information leak in smb3_reconfigure()
In smb3_reconfigure(), if smb3_sync_session_ctx_passwords() fails, the
function returns immediately without freeing and erasing the newly
allocated new_password and new_password2. This causes both a memory leak
and a potential information leak.
Fix this by calling kfree_sensitive() on both password buffers before
returning in this error case. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: Fix refcount leak when invalid session is found on session lookup
When a session is found but its state is not SMB2_SESSION_VALID, It
indicates that no valid session was found, but it is missing to decrement
the reference count acquired by the session lookup, which results in
a reference count leak. This patch fixes the issue by explicitly calling
ksmbd_user_session_put to release the reference to the session. |
