CVSS v3.1 |
| This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PDF-XChange Editor. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of TIF files. Crafted data in a TIF file can trigger a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-18716. |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.8, a specially crafted TCP stream can lead to a very large buffer overflow while being zero-filled during initialization with memset due to an unsigned integer underflow. The issue has been addressed in Suricata 7.0.8. |
| An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_nan_subscribe_get_nl_params(), there is no input validation check on hal_req->num_intf_addr_present coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite. |
| In wlan service, there is a possible out of bounds write due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS08572601; Issue ID: MSV-1229. |
| An issue was discovered in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 980, Exynos 850, Exynos 1280, Exynos 1380, and Exynos 1330. In the function slsi_nan_get_security_info_nl(), there is no input validation check on sec_info->key_info.body.pmk_info.pmk_len coming from userspace, which can lead to a heap overwrite. |
| In OPTEE, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local information disclosure with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS08522504; Issue ID: ALPS08522504. |
| In ril service, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local denial of service with System execution privileges needed |
| vyper is a Pythonic Smart Contract Language for the EVM. Vyper handles AugAssign statements by first caching the target location to avoid double evaluation. However, in the case when target is an access to a DynArray and the rhs modifies the array, the cached target will evaluate first, and the bounds check will not be re-evaluated during the write portion of the statement. This issue has been addressed in version 0.4.1 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 135. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 135.0.1. |

| Netgear routers R7000P before v1.3.3.154, R6900P before v1.3.3.154, R7960P before v1.4.4.94, and R8000P before v1.4.4.94 were discovered to contain a pre-authentication stack overflow. |
| Buffer Overflow vulnerability in open source FreeImage v.3.19.0 [r1909] allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via the Imf_2_2::copyIntoFrameBuffer() component when reading images in EXR format. |
| Out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the RSMC module.
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will affect availability. |
| In ril service, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local denial of service with System execution privileges needed |
| The e1000 network adapters permit a variety of modifications to an Ethernet packet when it is being transmitted. These include the insertion of IP and TCP checksums, insertion of an Ethernet VLAN header, and TCP segmentation offload ("TSO"). The e1000 device model uses an on-stack buffer to generate the modified packet header when simulating these modifications on transmitted packets.
When checksum offload is requested for a transmitted packet, the e1000 device model used a guest-provided value to specify the checksum offset in the on-stack buffer. The offset was not validated for certain packet types.
A misbehaving bhyve guest could overwrite memory in the bhyve process on the host, possibly leading to code execution in the host context.
The bhyve process runs in a Capsicum sandbox, which (depending on the FreeBSD version and bhyve configuration) limits the impact of exploiting this issue. |
