CVSS v3.1 |
| Yenkee Hornet Gaming Mouse driver GM312Fltr.sys contains a buffer overrun vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the system by sending oversized input. Attackers can exploit the driver by sending a 2000-byte buffer through DeviceIoControl to trigger a kernel-level system crash. |
| Integer underflow (wrap or wraparound) in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows NDIS allows an authorized attacker to disclose information with a physical attack. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in Azure Connected Machine Agent allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows NTFS allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) Enclave allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Connected Devices Platform Service (Cdpsvc) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Capability Access Management Service (camsvc) allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows NTFS allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Media allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Capability Access Management Service (camsvc) allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows TPM allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information with a physical attack. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Common Log File System Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Kernel Memory allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: x86: use array_index_nospec with indices that come from guest
min and dest_id are guest-controlled indices. Using array_index_nospec()
after the bounds checks clamps these values to mitigate speculative execution
side-channels. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
efivarfs: Fix slab-out-of-bounds in efivarfs_d_compare
Observed on kernel 6.6 (present on master as well):
BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in memcmp+0x98/0xd0

If dentry->d_name.len < EFI_VARIABLE_GUID_LEN , 'guid' can become
negative, leadings to oob. The issue can be triggered by parallel
lookups using invalid filename:
T1 T2
lookup_open
->lookup
simple_lookup
d_add
// invalid dentry is added to hash list
lookup_open
d_alloc_parallel
__d_lookup_rcu
__d_lookup_rcu_op_compare
hlist_bl_for_each_entry_rcu
// invalid dentry can be retrieved
->d_compare
efivarfs_d_compare
// oob
Fix it by checking 'guid' before cmp. |
