Vulnerability in the MySQL Connectors product of Oracle MySQL (component: Connector/J). Supported versions that are affected are 9.0.0-9.2.0. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of MySQL Connectors. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
Incorrect Default Permissions for some Intel(R) RealSense™ SDK software before version 2.56.2 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Incorrect execution-assigned permissions for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiber™ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via adjacent access.
Insecure inherited permissions in the NVM Update Utility for some Intel(R) Ethernet Network Adapter E810 Series before version 4.60 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Incorrect execution-assigned permissions for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiber™ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Incorrect execution-assigned permissions for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiber™ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via adjacent access.
Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver installers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
| IBM i 7.6
contains a privilege escalation vulnerability due to incorrect profile swapping in an OS command. A malicious actor can use the command to elevate privileges to gain root access to the host operating system. |
When installing Nessus to a non-default location on a Windows host, Nessus versions prior to 10.8.4 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories. This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location. - CVE-2025-24914
Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) Gaudi(R) software installers before version 1.18 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
An improper default permissions vulnerability was reported in Lenovo PC Manager that could allow a local attacker to elevate privileges.
Local privilege escalation due to insecure file permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 40077.
Local privilege escalation in Genetec Update Service. An authenticated, low-privileged, Windows user could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges on the affected system.
IBM Security Guardium 12.1 could allow a local privileged user to escalate their privileges to root due to insecure inherited permissions created by the program.
Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. In versions 8.8.1 and prior, a privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Notepad++ v8.8.1 installer that allows unprivileged users to gain SYSTEM-level privileges through insecure executable search paths. An attacker could use social engineering or clickjacking to trick users into downloading both the legitimate installer and a malicious executable to the same directory (typically Downloads folder - which is known as Vulnerable directory). Upon running the installer, the attack executes automatically with SYSTEM privileges. This issue has been fixed and will be released in version 8.8.2.
In JetBrains TeamCity before 2025.07 privilege escalation was possible due to incorrect directory permissions
Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software installers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) oneAPI DPC++/C++ Compiler software installers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
In onCreate of InstallStart.java, there is a possible permissions bypass due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation.
In dump of WindowManagerService.java, there is a possible way of running dumpsys without the required permission due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
