CVSS v3.1 |
An authentication vulnerability in HPE SiteScope product versions 11.2x and 11.3x, allows read-only accounts to view all SiteScope interfaces and monitors, potentially exposing sensitive data.
Extreme EXOS 16.x, 21.x, and 22.x allows administrators to obtain a root shell via vectors involving an exsh debug shell.
Nagios Core through 4.3.4 initially executes /usr/sbin/nagios as root but supports configuration options in which this file is owned by a non-root account (and similarly can have nagios.cfg owned by a non-root account), which allows local users to gain privileges by leveraging access to this non-root account.
Extreme EXOS 16.x, 21.x, and 22.x allows administrators to obtain a root shell via vectors involving a privileged process.
IBM Sterling File Gateway does not properly restrict user requests based on permission level. This allows for users to update data related to other users, by manipulating the parameters passed in the POST request. IBM X-Force ID: 126060.
NetApp StorageGRID Webscale 10.2.x before 10.2.2.3, 10.3.x before 10.3.0.4, and 10.4.x before 10.4.0.2 allow remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary objects via unspecified vectors.
IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes DB2 Connect Server) 10.1, 10.5, and 11.1 could allow an authenticated attacker with specialized access to tables that they should not be permitted to view. IBM Reference #: 1999515.
OrientDB through 2.2.22 does not enforce privilege requirements during "where" or "fetchplan" or "order by" use, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted request.
GitLab Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) before 9.0.11, 9.1.8, 9.2.8 allow an authenticated user with the ability to create a group to add themselves to any project that is inside a subgroup.
Inteno routers have a JUCI ACL misconfiguration that allows the "user" account to read files, write to files, and add root SSH keys via JSON commands to ubus. (Exploitation is sometimes easy because the "user" password might be "user" or might match the Wi-Fi key.)
Vulnerability in the Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics component of Oracle Hospitality Applications (subcomponent: Mobile Apps). Supported versions that are affected are 8.5.1 and 9.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 5.4 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N).
The Config File Provider Plugin is used to centrally manage configuration files that often include secrets, such as passwords. Users with only Overall/Read access to Jenkins were able to access URLs directly that allowed viewing these files. Access to view these files now requires sufficient permissions to configure the provided files, view the configuration of the folder in which the configuration files are defined, or have Job/Configure permissions to a job able to use these files.
systemd v233 and earlier fails to safely parse usernames starting with a numeric digit (e.g. "0day"), running the service in question with root privileges rather than the user intended.
ATutor versions 2.2.1 and earlier are vulnerable to an incorrect access control check vulnerability in the Social Application component resulting in privilege escalation. ATutor versions 2.2.1 and earlier are vulnerable to an incorrect access control check vulnerability in the Module component resulting in privilege escalation. ATutor versions 2.2.1 and earlier are vulnerable to a incorrect access control check vulnerability in the Alternative Content component resulting in privilege escalation.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics component of Oracle Hospitality Applications (subcomponent: Reporting). Supported versions that are affected are 8.5.1 and 9.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 7.7 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H).
file_open in Tryton 3.x and 4.x through 4.2.2 allows remote authenticated users with certain permissions to read arbitrary files via a "same root name but with a suffix" attack. NOTE: This vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2016-1242.
Due to differences in the Erlang-based JSON parser and JavaScript-based JSON parser, it is possible in Apache CouchDB before 1.7.0 and 2.x before 2.1.1 to submit _users documents with duplicate keys for 'roles' used for access control within the database, including the special case '_admin' role, that denotes administrative users. In combination with CVE-2017-12636 (Remote Code Execution), this can be used to give non-admin users access to arbitrary shell commands on the server as the database system user. The JSON parser differences result in behaviour that if two 'roles' keys are available in the JSON, the second one will be used for authorising the document write, but the first 'roles' key is used for subsequent authorization for the newly created user. By design, users can not assign themselves roles. The vulnerability allows non-admin users to give themselves admin privileges.
PostgreSQL PL/Java before 1.5.0 allows remote authenticated users with USAGE permission on the public schema to alter the public schema classpath.
The identity zones feature in Pivotal Cloud Foundry 208 through 229; UAA 2.0.0 through 2.7.3 and 3.0.0; UAA-Release 2 through 4, when configured with multiple identity zones; and Elastic Runtime 1.6.0 through 1.6.13 allows remote authenticated users with privileges in one zone to gain privileges and perform operations on a different zone via unspecified vectors.
In Open Ticket Request System (OTRS) 3.3.x through 3.3.16, 4.x through 4.0.23, and 5.x through 5.0.19, an attacker with agent permission is capable of opening a specific URL in a browser to gain administrative privileges / full access. Afterward, all system settings can be read and changed. The URLs in question contain index.pl?Action=Installer with ;Subaction=Intro or ;Subaction=Start or ;Subaction=System appended at the end.
