CVE-2023-4072 1 Google 1 Chrome 2025-02-13 8.8 High
Out of bounds read and write in WebGL in Google Chrome prior to 115.0.5790.170 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2023-40576 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2025-02-13 5.3 Medium
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. Affected versions are subject to an Out-Of-Bounds Read in the `RleDecompress` function. This Out-Of-Bounds Read occurs because FreeRDP processes the `pbSrcBuffer` variable without checking if it contains data of sufficient length. Insufficient data in the `pbSrcBuffer` variable may cause errors or crashes. This issue has been addressed in version 3.0.0-beta3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2023-40575 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2025-02-13 5.3 Medium
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), released under the Apache license. Affected versions are subject to an Out-Of-Bounds Read in the `general_YUV444ToRGB_8u_P3AC4R_BGRX` function. This issue is likely down to insufficient data for the `pSrc` variable and results in crashes. This issue has been addressed in version 3.0.0-beta3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2023-4056 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 5 more 2025-02-13 9.8 Critical
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 115, Firefox ESR 115.0, Firefox ESR 102.13, Thunderbird 115.0, and Thunderbird 102.13. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 116, Firefox ESR < 102.14, and Firefox ESR < 115.1.
CVE-2023-4055 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 5 more 2025-02-13 7.5 High
When the number of cookies per domain was exceeded in `document.cookie`, the actual cookie jar sent to the host was no longer consistent with expected cookie jar state. This could have caused requests to be sent with some cookies missing. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 116, Firefox ESR < 102.14, and Firefox ESR < 115.1.
CVE-2023-4050 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 5 more 2025-02-13 7.5 High
In some cases, an untrusted input stream was copied to a stack buffer without checking its size. This resulted in a potentially exploitable crash which could have led to a sandbox escape. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 116, Firefox ESR < 102.14, and Firefox ESR < 115.1.
CVE-2023-4048 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 5 more 2025-02-13 7.5 High
An out-of-bounds read could have led to an exploitable crash when parsing HTML with DOMParser in low memory situations. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 116, Firefox ESR < 102.14, and Firefox ESR < 115.1.
CVE-2023-4016 3 Fedoraproject, Procps Project, Redhat 3 Fedora, Procps, Enterprise Linux 2025-02-13 2.5 Low
Under some circumstances, this weakness allows a user who has access to run the “ps” utility on a machine, the ability to write almost unlimited amounts of unfiltered data into the process heap.
CVE-2023-39947 2 Debian, Eprosima 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds 2025-02-13 8.2 High
eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6, even after the fix at commit 3492270, malformed `PID_PROPERTY_LIST` parameters cause heap overflow at a different program counter. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6 contain a patch for this issue.
CVE-2023-39946 2 Debian, Eprosima 2 Debian Linux, Fast Dds 2025-02-13 8.2 High
eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the Data Distribution Service standard of the Object Management Group. Prior to versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6, heap can be overflowed by providing a PID_PROPERTY_LIST parameter that contains a CDR string with length larger than the size of actual content. In `eprosima::fastdds::dds::ParameterPropertyList_t::push_back_helper`, `memcpy` is called to first copy the octet'ized length and then to copy the data into `properties_.data`. At the second memcpy, both `data` and `size` can be controlled by anyone that sends the CDR string to the discovery multicast port. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. Versions 2.11.1, 2.10.2, 2.9.2, and 2.6.6 contain a patch for this issue.
CVE-2023-38590 1 Apple 5 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 2 more 2025-02-13 8.8 High
A buffer overflow issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in watchOS 9.6, macOS Big Sur 11.7.9, iOS 15.7.8 and iPadOS 15.7.8, macOS Monterey 12.6.8, tvOS 16.6, iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6, macOS Ventura 13.5. A remote user may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory.
CVE-2023-38253 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Tats 4 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-02-13 4.7 Medium
An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in w3m, in the growbuf_to_Str function in indep.c. This issue may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service through a crafted HTML file.
CVE-2023-37457 2 Digium, Sangoma 2 Asterisk, Certified Asterisk 2025-02-13 7.5 High
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. In Asterisk versions 18.20.0 and prior, 20.5.0 and prior, and 21.0.0; as well as ceritifed-asterisk 18.9-cert5 and prior, the 'update' functionality of the PJSIP_HEADER dialplan function can exceed the available buffer space for storing the new value of a header. By doing so this can overwrite memory or cause a crash. This is not externally exploitable, unless dialplan is explicitly written to update a header based on data from an outside source. If the 'update' functionality is not used the vulnerability does not occur. A patch is available at commit a1ca0268254374b515fa5992f01340f7717113fa.
CVE-2023-37285 1 Apple 3 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos 2025-02-13 9.8 Critical
